The Whipple Gen 6 W185RF 3.0L Supercharger Kit is the most advanced, highest-performing intercooled twin-screw system ever engineered for GM 5.3L direct-injected trucks and SUVs. Backed by over 34 years of GM twin-screw supercharging experience, this complete bolt-on system delivers record-setting power with OEM-level drivability, cooling, and emissions compliance.
At the heart of the system is Whipples Gen 6 W185ax 3.0-liter (3000cc) twin-screw supercharger, featuring a championship-proven 3x4 rotor combination that dramatically improves airflow, sealing efficiency, and boost response. The front-feed design paired with the Crusher 112mm inlet minimizes rotor cavitation while supporting nearly any high-performance throttle body.
Cooling is handled by Whipples patented dual-pass, dual-core air-to-water intercooler system. Intake air passes through two intercooler cores twice, delivering nearly double the effective cooling area of competing systems. This is supported by the largest dual-pass heat exchanger on the market and a high-flow intercooler pump for uncompromised IAT control under sustained load.
