Overview
The Whipple Crusher Induction System with MPVI4 Tuning is the most advanced bolt-on air intake and calibration package available for the 2024–2026 Ford Mustang GT and Dark Horse 5.0L Coyote. Engineered by the same team behind Whipple’s 1300+ horsepower supercharger systems, this upgrade is designed to deliver real, measurable power gains while improving throttle response, sound, and overall drivability.
This isn’t a basic cold air intake. The Crusher system combines an oversized sealed air box, high-flow filter, CFD-optimized intake tubing, and Whipple’s performance calibration to unlock hidden power in your naturally aspirated Coyote.
Proven Power Gains
On the dyno, the Whipple Crusher Induction System delivers up to 21 rear-wheel horsepower and 15 lb-ft of torque with no other modifications required. The gains are felt throughout the rev range, with a stronger midrange pull and improved top-end power.
Whipple’s calibration also raises the rev limiter and optimizes shift behavior, allowing the engine to carry power higher in the RPM band for improved acceleration and quicker elapsed times.
Crusher™ Intake Engineering
At the core of this system is Whipple’s CFD-optimized Crusher™ intake design. Every bend and transition is modeled to increase airflow velocity while reducing turbulence, ensuring the engine receives cooler, denser air under all conditions.
The oversized sealed air box pulls fresh air directly from the front grille area and seals tightly against the hood to keep engine bay heat out. A massive high-flow air filter provides the surface area needed to support aggressive airflow demands without sacrificing filtration.
Whipple MPVI4 Performance Calibration
Included with this system is Whipple’s MPVI4 flash tool loaded with a custom performance calibration. The tune is designed to safely maximize airflow gains while maintaining factory-level reliability and drivability.
Calibration enhancements include optimized torque delivery, raised RPM limits, improved shift points, firmer and quicker shifts, and revised throttle mapping for sharper response.
