The Vortech V-7 YSi-Trim Heavy Duty Supercharger Head Unit delivers true "large blower" performance in a more compact package that fits most existing Vortech mounting bracketry. Designed for vehicles with highly modified engines and extreme airflow and boost demands, the V-7 series combines advanced centrifugal technology with race-proven durability.
This YSi-Trim configuration features Vortech's exclusive D-port volute for improved efficiency at high flow rates and is intended for serious street, strip, and race applications. The Heavy Duty (H/D) version is equipped with high-speed ceramic hybrid ball bearings, making it ideal for sustained high-RPM operation and compatibility with cog pulley / Gilmer-style drive systems. Due to the massive discharge flow capability, this unit requires the use of a Vortech Racing Bypass Valve or larger.
