Developed in Vortech's supercharger test cell, the V-3 Si-Trim features a computer-designed, high-efficiency impeller and housing paired with a precision helical gear-driven system for nearly silent operation and exceptional reliability.
With an industry-leading 78% adiabatic efficiency (SAE J1723), the V-3 Si-Trim produces less heat, reduces parasitic drive loss, and delivers greater net power compared to lower-efficiency designs. These efficiency gains also contribute to improved durability during aggressive street or competition use.
Tuner Kit Configuration Explained
Vortech tuner kits include the same core supercharger hardware found in complete systems but exclude fuel system upgrades and ECM reprogramming. This allows racers and custom tuners to configure injectors, pumps, engine management, and boost levels to match specific performance goals.
For reference, High Output complete systems for 2005-2008 Mustang GT applications are capable of boosting stock engines to approximately 462 horsepower when fully equipped and calibrated.
