The TRZ Motorsports Rear Upper Control Arm Mounts for 1979 - 2004 Ford Mustang are designed for builders creating a fully custom, tubular rear suspension system. These mounts are not bolt-in components - they are intended as fabrication pieces to help you construct your own adjustable tubular upper crossmember for drag race or high-performance applications.
When used on a Mustang chassis, these brackets initially bolt into the factory upper control arm mounting points on the body side strictly for mock-up and location purposes. After that, the factory sheetmetal must be cut out, and tubing must be tied from the roll cage into the front side of these mounts. Additional bracing is then required to tie the mounts securely into the rest of the chassis structure.
The brackets offer a wide range of suspension tuning capability with 9 points of adjustment, making them ideal for high-power setups that require precise anti-squat and geometry control. They include two mounts, two bolts, and four spacers designed to work with a 3/4" rod end. These mounts can also be used in non-Mustang custom applications; in those cases, the factory location steps can be ignored.
