The TRZ Motorsports 9? Billet Faceplate 4130 Builders Kit with Round Tube Back Brace (Part #650-BKTB) is built for serious fabricators who want a premium-strength foundation when constructing a custom 9-inch rear-end. This kit provides all structural core components along with a 1-5/8? 4130 tubular back brace, housing patches, and gussets for maximum reinforcement in high-horsepower applications.
The pocketed billet faceplate offers weight savings without compromising rigidity and features a minimum 7/16? thickness, blind 3rd member hardware holes, and fully integrated vent and drain ports. TRZ's billet axle tube caps locate 3.5? axle tubes internally, ensuring precise fitment during assembly. A 3-piece chromoly rear shell with a centered fill cap opening is included, along with an anodized high-grip fill cap and pre-welded bung.
This kit also includes internal housing gussets, a full set of ARP 3rd member studs, nuts, and washers, plus both drain and vent fittings. Built intentionally for custom housing fabrication, the design allows the faceplate and tube caps to be fully welded before fitting and installing the shell.
Important: Designed for 3.5? axle tubes with a centered pinion. TRZ specifies RTV sealant only - not a gasket. If you prefer a gasket, you must shim the assembly to match gasket thickness during the build process.
