The billet faceplate is engineered for maximum rigidity with 7/16? minimum thickness, blind 3rd member hardware holes, and integrated vent and drain ports. TRZ's billet axle tube caps locate 3.5? axle tubes precisely prior to welding, ensuring accurate alignment during fabrication. The 3-piece chromoly rear shell features a centered fill cap opening and includes an anodized high-grip fill cap with weld bung.
Internal gussets, ARP 3rd member hardware (studs, nuts, washers), plus drain and vent fittings round out the kit. This configuration is ideal for custom builders who prefer to position and weld their own tubes, finalize shell fitment, and configure bracing to suit their exact application.
Important: Designed for 3.5? axle tubes with a centered pinion. The faceplate and tube caps can be completely welded before installing the rear shell. TRZ specifies RTV sealant only; if you choose to run a gasket, you must shim the build to match gasket thickness.
