The TRZ Motorsports Outlaw Front Suspension w/ Motor Mount Pads & Billet Aluminum Spindle Upgrade is the most complete, lightweight, drag-race-focused front suspension package available for the 1997 - 2013 Corvette C5 and C6 platform. Built for racers who demand maximum strength, weight reduction, adjustability, and braking compatibility, this system replaces the entire factory front assembly with premium chrome-moly and billet aluminum components.
The kit features a fully engineered chrome-moly K-member, upper and lower A-arms with teflon-lined rod ends throughout, and the upgraded billet aluminum spindle set. These billet spindles reduce rotating mass while maintaining compatibility with Strange GT spindle-mount brakes and select standard hub-style brake kits.
Steering performance is optimized with Pinto-style rack-and-pinion mounts and an included custom-length manual rack kit. This rack setup includes 6061 aluminum LH/RH tie-rod adjusters (bump steer kit), a steering shaft, two chrome-moly U-joints, and a steering column adapter - delivering the precise geometry needed for consistent, stable straight-line operation.
This system is designed for drag racing only and sheds up to 95 lbs from the front of the vehicle. The geometry narrows track width by approximately 1 inch per side and incorporates 8 - 10 degrees of positive caster to improve launch stability. It is intended for coil-over shocks with 4? or 5? stroke depending on ride height, using lower mounts that are 1? wide with a 1/2? ID bearing.
This configuration includes motor mount pads (pads only; motor mounts not included), giving you proper mounting locations for engine installation. Brake and hub compatibility includes Strange 5x4.75 hubs (B4154WC), Strange spindle-mount combinations (B4597WC), and TBM spindle-mount setups (TBM-001-0204). Some Strange caliper brackets may require light grinding for proper clearance.
This system does not work with OEM C5/C6 A-arms, brakes, spindles, or steering components. If your brake kit fits a factory C5/C6 spindle, it will not fit this TRZ spindle design.
