The TRZ Motorsports Outlaw Front Suspension w/ Billet Aluminum Spindle Upgrade is the ultimate front-end solution for drag racers running a 1997 - 2013 C5 or C6 Corvette. This race-only system replaces the entire factory front suspension with chrome-moly and billet aluminum components engineered for maximum strength, adjustability, and dramatic weight savings.
At the core of the system is a fully welded chrome-moly K-member paired with chrome-moly upper and lower A-arms utilizing high-quality teflon-lined rod ends. This version includes the premium Billet Aluminum Spindle Upgrade, offering lighter weight than the standard chrome-moly spindles while retaining compatibility with Strange GT spindle-mount brakes or approved standard hub-style kits.
Steering performance is enhanced through Pinto-style rack-and-pinion mounts and a complete custom-length manual rack kit. This includes 6061 aluminum tie-rod adjusters (bump steer kit), a steering shaft, chrome-moly U-joints, and a steering column adapter - giving racers the precision and alignment control needed for consistent launches.
This system removes up to 95 lbs from the front of the Corvette and narrows track width by roughly 1 inch per side. The geometry includes 8 - 10 degrees of built-in positive caster for exceptional straight-line stability, and it is coil-over only (4? or 5? stroke depending on ride height, with 1? wide x 1/2? ID bearing-style lower mounts required). Brake compatibility includes Strange 5x4.75 hubs (B4154WC), Strange spindle-mount assemblies (B4597WC), and TBM spindle-mount brake solutions (TBM-001-0204).
Note that Strange caliper brackets may require minor grinding for clearance. OEM C5/C6 brakes, A-arms, spindles, or steering components are not compatible with this kit. Optional motor mount pads are available for an additional $150 (pads only - not full motor mounts).
