TRZ Motorsports Billet Aluminum Spindles - Factory Length - Stock Height / Stock-Type V8 Brakes (1979 - 1993 Ford Mustang) - 328-MUS1-1
Premium Billet Aluminum Spindles for 1979 - 1993 Foxbody Mustangs
The TRZ Motorsports Billet Aluminum Spindles (Factory Length, Stock Height) are engineered for Foxbody Mustang racers who want a lighter, stronger, and more precise front-end setup. CNC-machined in-house from billet aluminum and paired with heat-treated stainless steel spindle pins, these spindles are designed to accept brake kits that fit OEM-style Mustang V8 spindles - making them ideal for race applications using aftermarket stock-type brake systems.
Each spindle is part of TRZ's exclusive 3-piece design, eliminating welds and seams for superior strength and accuracy. A matching pair of bolt-on billet steering arms is included, available in factory length or extended length depending on your steering rack placement. All necessary installation hardware - castle nuts, keyed washers, cotter pins, ball joint spacers, and steering arm bolts - is included.
These stock-height spindles are optimized for factory or slightly lowered vehicles, allowing the strut to compress more and provide maximum extension travel. Weighing only 4 lbs per spindle (8 lbs per pair), they offer a massive weight reduction over factory components. They are compatible with multiple aftermarket stock-type brake systems but will not work with true factory brakes.
Designed for maximum compatibility, these spindles work with Foxbody (1979 - 1993) and SN95/New Edge (1994 - 2004) ball joints. Adjustable A-arms are recommended for best geometry, and 1994 - 2004 Mustangs will require narrowed A-arms to run Foxbody spindles. Steering arm variations are available for different rack positions.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can these billet spindles be used with actual factory Mustang brakes?
No. These spindles only fit aftermarket brake systems designed for stock-type Mustang V8 spindles. They will not work with true OEM brakes.
Do I need ball joint spacers for installation?
Only if you are using 1979 - 1993 Foxbody ball joints. SN95/New Edge (1994 - 2004) ball joints do not require the spacer.
