TRZ Motorsports 2" Drop Billet Spindles & Steering Arms - 3/8-24 Caliper Bracket Bolt Size - 1 Pair (1978 - 1988 Chevy Malibu - G-Body / 1982 - 2002 Chevy Blazer & S-10 - 2WD) - 328-62 & 303
2? Drop Lightweight Billet Spindles Built for G-Body & S-10 Drag Racing
The TRZ Motorsports 2? Drop Billet Spindles & Steering Arms are purpose-built for serious drag racers running G-Body or S-10/Blazer 2WD platforms. Crafted from 6061 billet aluminum and equipped with 17-4 heat-treated stainless steel spindle pins, these spindles are designed to work with stock-style drag race brake kits that fit OEM spindles (excluding late-model 2-piston S10/Blazer brakes).
This package includes a matching pair of TRZ billet steering arms and hardware. Racers may also upgrade to TRZ Quick Steer Arms (303-QS), which improve the turning radius by up to 30% for rack-and-pinion steering conversions. All components are engineered to maintain proper geometry with a 2? drop, improving weight transfer and launch consistency.
At just 11 pounds total for the pair (spindles + arms + hardware), these components offer significant unsprung weight reduction. A bump-steer kit is required, as TRZ steering arms lengthen the tie rods and utilize a 1/2? straight hole for simpler and more precise geometry correction.
This version is machined specifically for 3/8-24 caliper bracket bolt threads. Brake manufacturers have used multiple bolt sizes over different production years, so TRZ strongly recommends verifying your current brake hardware before ordering.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do these require a bump-steer kit?
Yes. The steering arms lengthen the tie rods and use a 1/2? straight hole, so proper bump-steer correction is required.
How do I know which caliper bolt size to choose?
Physically measure your existing brake brackets - manufacturers changed thread sizes over time. If uncertain, measuring is far more accurate than guessing.
