TRZ Motorsports 2" Drop Billet Spindles - TRZ-303 Steering Arm (1979 - 1981 Camaro / Firebird / 1979 Nova) - 328-42 & 303

2? Drop Billet Spindles with TRZ-303 Steering Arms for Late F-Body & 1979 Nova

The TRZ Motorsports 2? Drop Billet Spindles paired with TRZ-303 Billet Steering Arms are engineered for drag racers looking for reduced weight, improved geometry, and a high-strength billet upgrade for their 1979 - 1981 Camaro/Firebird or 1979 Chevy Nova. CNC'd in-house from premium billet aluminum and equipped with heat-treated stainless steel spindle pins, these spindles deliver the consistency and durability required for competitive drag applications.

Each spindle kit includes castle nuts, keyed washers, and cotter pins for a complete installation. Built strictly for drag racing, these spindles are compatible with aftermarket brake systems designed to match stock spindle geometry - specifically Strange and TBM billet brake setups. They are not compatible with Wilwood, Aerospace, or Baer brakes.

These spindles must be used with TRZ's 6061 billet steering arms (Part #303), which offer strong, precise steering geometry. TRZ also notes that the optional 303-QS Quick Steer Arms can improve turning radius by up to 30% when combined with rack-and-pinion steering. Because the steering arm design incorporates a 1/2? tie-rod mounting hole, TRZ recommends pairing the setup with a bump steer kit for optimal alignment control.

With an approximate 15 lb weight reduction compared to factory spindles, this setup improves front-end reaction and helps your drag car transfer weight more effectively during launch.
