TRZ Motorsports 2" Drop Billet Spindles - No Steering Arm (1970 - 1981 Camaro / Firebird / 1975 - 1979 Nova) - 328-41
Lightweight 2? Drop Billet Spindles for 1970 - 1981 F-Body & 1975 - 1979 Nova
The TRZ Motorsports 2? Drop Billet Spindles are purpose-built for drag racers looking to reduce weight, improve suspension geometry, and pair high-end braking and steering upgrades with a strong billet platform. Designed for 1970 - 1981 Camaro/Firebird (F-body) and 1975 - 1979 Chevy Nova, these CNC'd billet aluminum spindles feature heat-treated stainless steel spindle pins for exceptional durability under hard launches.
Each spindle set includes castle nuts, keyed washers, and cotter pins. These are engineered strictly for drag race use and must be used with TRZ's 6061 billet steering arms (Part #303) or the Quick Steer Arms (Part #303-QS). Quick Steer Arms can improve turning radius by up to 30% when paired with rack-and-pinion steering setups.
These spindles also work with popular aftermarket bolt-on brake kits that fit stock spindle geometry - including Strange and TBM billet brake packages. They do not fit Wilwood, Aerospace, or Baer systems. TRZ recommends running these with a bump steer kit since their steering arms use a 1/2? tie-rod hole, helping maintain proper toe curve through full suspension travel.
Weight savings are substantial, cutting approximately 15 lbs compared to factory spindles. This reduction helps improve weight transfer and front-end reaction time on the track.
