The TRZ Motorsports Lightweight Adjustable Steering Column is a precision-built upgrade for 1982 - 1988 Chevy Blazer and S-10 2WD platforms, engineered for racers and performance builders who demand improved ergonomics, faster steering response, and reduced front-end weight. Featuring TRZ's proven 6061 aluminum swivel ball and mount, the column offers 10 height adjustment positions to dial in perfect driver position for drag racing or street/strip setups.
The column is designed to mount from your quick-release steering wheel hub to just a few inches through the firewall. It does not include the long steering shaft that travels through the engine bay - allowing builders to configure custom steering linkage, address header clearance, and integrate aftermarket racks or steering systems. A loose Delrin bushing is included and must be pressed into the outer tube and reamed to .75" for smooth, precise steering movement.
With a five-hole firewall mounting pattern, this TRZ column fits the various OEM mounting configurations found across 2WD S-10 and Blazer models from 1982 - 1988, including models originally equipped with either three- or four-hole firewall plates.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this include the full steering shaft?
No. This column only covers the interior portion from the wheel to the firewall. The shaft through the engine bay must be purchased separately.
Is an extra U-joint required for installation?
