The TRZ Motorsports 2" Drop GM Billet Spindle Mount Spindles are engineered for racers looking to run lightweight spindle-mount wheels on their 1978 - 1988 Chevy Malibu (G-Body) while correcting suspension geometry on lowered drag setups. These spindles eliminate factory hubs, shed weight, and deliver stronger, more precise front-end control for serious competition.
Each spindle is CNC-machined in-house from high-grade billet aluminum, paired with heat-treated stainless steel spindle pins as standard. For racers pushing the limits, optional titanium spindle pins (32601-TI) remove nearly one pound of rotating mass. Every spindle kit includes castle nuts, keyed washers, ARP stainless caliper bolts, steering arm bolts, and cotter pins for a complete install.
These must be paired with TRZ Billet Steering Arms (303) or upgraded Quick Steer Arms (303-QS). Quick Steer Arms offer up to a 30% improvement in turning radius when used with rack-and-pinion steering, making them a popular upgrade for tight pit maneuvering and improved responsiveness.
Designed strictly for drag racing applications, the 2" drop geometry corrects shock height and improves suspension alignment on lowered G-Body cars. These spindles work with aftermarket Strange or TBM drag brake kits (spindle-mount or hub-style), but will not accept factory Malibu brake components.
