2" Drop Billet Spindle-Mount Drag Spindles for 1977 - 1996 Impala & Caprice
The TRZ Motorsports 2" Drop GM Billet Spindle Mount Spindles are purpose-built for B-Body drag racers who want maximum weight reduction, improved suspension geometry, and compatibility with high-performance spindle-mount wheels. Designed for 1977 - 1996 Impala and Caprice platforms, these lightweight spindles remove heavy hubs, reduce rotating mass, and help your front end transfer weight cleanly during launch.
Each spindle is CNC-machined in-house from premium billet aluminum and comes standard with heat-treated stainless steel spindle pins. For even greater weight savings, TRZ offers an upgrade to titanium spindle pins (32601-TI), shaving just under one pound of rotating mass. Included hardware consists of castle nuts, keyed washers, ARP stainless caliper bolts, steering arm bolts, and cotter pins.
These spindles must be used with TRZ Billet Steering Arms (303) or the Quick Steer Arms (303-QS). Quick Steer Arms can improve steering response and turning radius by up to 30% when used with rack-and-pinion steering conversions.
Intended for drag race applications only, the 2" drop corrects front suspension geometry and installed shock height on lowered Impala/Caprice builds. They work with aftermarket drag brake systems from Strange and TBM - in both spindle-mount and hub-style configurations - but will not accept OEM or street-style brake systems.

Spindle-Mount Wheel Bearing Note: Designed around the large-bearing Strange GT Strut layout (1.250" & 0.750"). Not compatible with Anglia or Strange Ultra Strut small-bearing systems.
