TRZ Motorsports GM Billet Spindle Mount Spindles - 2" Drop (1970 - 1981 Camaro / Firebird / 1975 - 1979 Nova) - 326-4

2" Drop Billet Spindle-Mount Drag Spindles for 70 - 81 F-Body & 75 - 79 Nova

The TRZ Motorsports 2" Drop GM Billet Spindle Mount Spindles are built for hardcore drag racers running spindle-mount wheels on second-generation Camaro and Firebird platforms, as well as 1975 - 1979 Nova applications. These ultra-light, CNC-machined spindles eliminate the need for hubs and reduce rotating mass - helping your front end rise cleanly and consistently off the line.

Each spindle is machined in-house from premium billet aluminum and comes standard with heat-treated stainless steel spindle pins. For racers seeking maximum weight savings, TRZ offers titanium spindle pins (32601-TI), trimming just under 1 lb of critical rotating mass. Hardware is included: castle nuts, keyed washers, ARP stainless caliper bolts, steering arm bolts, and cotter pins.

These spindles must be paired with the TRZ Billet Steering Arms (303) or the Quick Steer Arms (303-QS), the latter improving turning radius by up to 30% on rack & pinion setups.

Built strictly for drag race use, the 2" drop design corrects suspension geometry on lowered F-Body & X-Body cars, improving shock travel and overall weight transfer. They work with aftermarket spindle-mount and hub-style drag brakes from Strange and TBM, but will not fit factory brake systems.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do these spindle-mount spindles accept factory brakes?

No. These spindles are designed exclusively for Strange or TBM drag race brake systems and cannot be used with OEM brake components.

Why choose the titanium spindle pin upgrade?

Titanium pins reduce rotating weight, improving weight transfer, launch consistency, and front-end rise - an advantage in competitive drag racing.
