Complete Coilover Front Control Arm System for 1977 - 1996 Impala & Caprice
The TRZ Motorsports 322-PRO-CO kit is a full coilover-style front control arm system engineered for 1977 - 1996 Chevrolet Impala and Caprice B-Body platforms. Built from TIG-welded chrome-moly tubing, this setup dramatically improves strength, suspension geometry, and weight reduction for competitive drag racing applications.
This complete kit includes PRO Series upper control arms equipped with chrome-moly rod ends and billet cross-shafts, paired with coilover-specific lower control arms designed to accept all 1" wide à 1/2" ID bearing-style lower coilover shock mounts. For QA1 coilovers, TRZ recommends the COM8T-102PK bearing kit to ensure proper fitment.
The geometry of these coilover lowers allows significant ride-height tuning: 316-style lowers drop the front roughly 2 inches, while 319/S10-style lowers support a more aggressive 2 - 3 inch drop. When paired with the matching uppers, the system achieves 6 - 7 degrees of positive caster - ideal for straight-line stability and drag strip consistency.
Note: TRZ A-arms are designed for drag racing only. They do not include sway bar tabs and are not intended for street use.
