Bump Steer Correction Kit for 77 - 96 Impala & Caprice (B-Body)
The TRZ Motorsports Bump Steer Kit is designed for 1977 - 1996 Chevy Impala and Caprice B-Body models using factory or aftermarket non-TRZ spindles with stock-length tie rods. Lowered B-Body cars often suffer from unwanted toe change through suspension travel, and this kit corrects that by replacing the inner and outer tie-rod ends with a fully adjustable chrome-moly system.
TRZ notes that "factory spindles" also includes aftermarket non-TRZ spindles. TRZ-spindle versions use TRZ steering arms that accept longer tie rods, but this kit is specifically built for factory-style spindle geometry.
Adjustable tie-rod height at the spindle allows precise geometry correction to minimize bump steer. The kit includes chrome-moly rod ends, LH/RH tie-rod adjusters, 6061 aluminum spacers, and new inner tie rods. Installation requires drilling the tapered spindle/steering-arm hole to 1/2" for the included TRZ hardware.
