The TRZ Motorsports Bump Steer Kit is engineered specifically for 1977 - 1996 Chevy Impala and Caprice running TRZ 4130 or Billet spindles. If your big-body Chevy has been converted to rack-and-pinion steering - or is lowered - this kit is essential for eliminating unwanted toe change throughout suspension travel, giving you stable, predictable high-speed handling.
This version is designed exclusively for vehicles equipped with TRZ steering arms (Part #303). TRZ steering arms allow the tie-rods to be longer, improving geometry setup and tuning range. The kit replaces factory fixed tie rods with chrome-moly rod ends, offering precise adjustability. Included are Grade 8 hardware and 6061 aluminum spacers to fine-tune rod-end height at the spindle.
Note: The stock tapered hole must be drilled to 1/2? for use with the straight-bolt mounting system. Compatible with both Standard and Narrowed Pinto racks using 1/2-20 inner threads. Always verify rack length during checkout - TRZ notes your selection may appear as "Narrowed Rack."
