Complete Stock-Spring Tubular Control Arm System for 1971 - 1976 B-Body
The TRZ Motorsports 321-PRO-STK Complete Kit is a full stock-spring tubular control arm upgrade engineered for 1971 - 1976 Chevrolet Impala and Caprice B-Body platforms. Designed for drag racing, this matched upper and lower arm system dramatically improves strength, geometry, and consistency over factory stamped control arms thanks to its TIG-welded chrome-moly construction.
The kit includes PRO Series upper control arms equipped with chrome-moly rod-ends and billet cross-shafts, along with stock-spring lower control arms featuring ball joints and bushings. When installed together, the system is capable of achieving 6 - 7 degrees of positive caster, greatly improving straight-line stability and high-speed control. Uppers or lowers alone cannot achieve this caster adjustment.
The stock-spring lowers include dropped spring perches to accommodate taller aftermarket springs. Depending on coil spring selection, the front end can lower approximately 1.5 to 1.75 inches from factory height. For more dramatic drops, TRZ offers coilover-specific lowers (316 and 319/S10), which offer 2 - 3 inches of drop.
All TRZ PRO Series uppers include travel limiters to control front-end rise during launches, helping dial in weight transfer for repeatable drag strip performance.
Important: TRZ A-arms are intended for drag racing only and do not include sway bar tabs. They are not designed for street applications.
