Full Coilover-Ready Tubular Control Arm System for 1971 - 1976 B-Body
The TRZ Motorsports 321-PRO-CO Coilover Style Complete Kit is a purpose-built front suspension upgrade for 1971 - 1976 Chevrolet Impala and Caprice drag racing applications. Constructed from TIG-welded chrome-moly tubing, these tubular upper and lower control arms provide major weight reduction, increased strength, and race-proven geometry improvements over the factory stamped components.
This kit includes PRO Series tubular uppers with billet cross-shafts and chrome-moly rod-ends, paired with coilover-only lower control arms. The lowers are engineered to accept all 1" wide à 1/2" ID bearing-style lower coilover shock mounts. For QA1 coilovers, TRZ recommends using the COM8T-102PK bearing kit for proper fitment.
With coilover-specific geometry, 316-style lowers typically provide about a 2-inch drop in ride height. TRZ's 319/S10 coilover lowers can drop the car even further - approximately 2 - 3 inches depending on shock configuration and spring rate.
When the complete upper + lower TRZ system is installed, racers can achieve 6 - 7 degrees of positive caster, dramatically improving straight-line stability under power. The uppers also feature integrated travel limiters to fine-tune front-end rise and weight transfer on launch.
Important: TRZ control arms are designed for drag racing only. They do not include sway bar tabs and are not intended for street use.

Can this kit be used with factory-style coil springs?
No. This kit uses coilover-only lowers. Stock spring setups require TRZ's 321-PRO-STK kit.
Do the uppers or lowers alone provide the full caster correction?
