Coilover-Ready Lower Control Arms for 1971 - 1976 GM B-Body

The TRZ Motorsports 321-CO-Lowers are coilover-specific tubular lower control arms designed for 1971 - 1976 Chevrolet Impala and Caprice B-Body platforms. Built from TIG-welded chrome-moly tubing, these lowers offer increased strength, significant weight reduction, and improved suspension geometry tailored for competitive drag racing.

These coilover-style lowers accept all 1-inch wide × 1/2-inch ID bearing-style lower shock mounts, making them compatible with most popular coilover brands. For QA1 coilovers, TRZ recommends the COM8T-102PK bearing kit for proper installation. With 316-style geometry, these arms typically lower the front end by about 2 inches, while S10/319-style arms can drop the car 2 - 3 inches depending on setup.

When paired with TRZ's PRO Series upper control arms, the complete TRZ system can achieve 6 - 7 degrees of positive caster, improving straight-line stability and high-speed performance. Uppers or lowers installed independently cannot achieve these caster targets. The uppers also incorporate travel limiters that help control front-end rise and weight transfer on launch.

Note: All TRZ A-arms are intended for drag racing only. They do not include sway bar tabs and are not designed for street use.
