TRZ Motorsports Bump Steer Kit for Stock Steering - Factory Spindles (1971 - 1976 Chevy Impala / Caprice - B-Body) - 321-202-2
Bump Steer Correction Kit for 71 - 76 Impala & Caprice (B-Body)
The TRZ Motorsports Bump Steer Kit is engineered for 1971 - 1976 Chevy Impala and Caprice B-Body cars using factory or aftermarket non-TRZ spindles with stock-length tie rods. On lowered B-Body vehicles, steering geometry often changes enough to introduce bump steer; this kit corrects that by replacing both inner and outer tie-rod ends with a fully adjustable chrome-moly setup.
TRZ clarifies that "factory spindles" also includes aftermarket non-TRZ spindles. Their TRZ spindle version uses a TRZ steering arm that allows longer tie rods, but this particular kit is designed specifically for factory-style spindle geometry.
Adjustable tie-rod height at the spindle lets you fine-tune steering geometry through suspension travel, helping stabilize the car under acceleration, braking, and cornering - especially important for heavy B-Body chassis. The kit includes chrome-moly rod ends, LH/RH tie-rod adjusters, 6061 aluminum spacers, and new inner tie rods. Installation requires drilling the tapered spindle hole to 1/2" for TRZ hardware.
