Bump Steer Correction for TRZ Spindles on 1971 - 1976 Impala & Caprice
This TRZ Motorsports Bump Steer Kit is engineered specifically for 1971 - 1976 Chevy Impala and Caprice B-Body models running TRZ 4130 or Billet spindles. When converting to rack-and-pinion steering - especially with lowered ride heights - bump steer becomes a major issue. This kit delivers the proper geometry correction to keep your B-Body stable, predictable, and safe at speed.
Because TRZ spindles use longer steering arms (Pt. #303), this kit is designed around that extended tie-rod length. Adjustable chrome-moly rod ends replace fixed tie rods to let you tune toe change accurately through suspension travel. The kit includes Grade 8 hardware and 6061 aluminum spacers for height adjustments. Note that the spindle taper must be drilled to 1/2? to accept the straight-bolt design of the TRZ system. Works with Standard and Narrowed Pinto racks using 1/2-20 steering threads. Always confirm your rack length before ordering - the site may label a rack as "Narrowed Rack" depending on your selection.
