TRZ Motorsports Bump Steer Kit for Rack & Pinion Conversions - Factory Spindle (1971 - 1976 Chevy Impala / Caprice - B-Body) - 321-202-1
Bump Steer Correction for Factory Spindles on 1971 - 1976 B-Body Impala & Caprice
This TRZ Motorsports Bump Steer Kit is engineered specifically for 1971 - 1976 Chevy Impala and Caprice B-Body chassis running a rack-and-pinion conversion. Designed for vehicles using factory or aftermarket non-TRZ spindles, this kit corrects the altered steering geometry common when lowering a B-Body or swapping to a Pinto-style rack.
The system replaces fixed tie-rod ends with fully adjustable chrome-moly rod ends, giving you the ability to fine-tune steering angles and eliminate unwanted toe change through suspension travel. Heavy-duty Grade 8 hardware and 6061 aluminum spacers are included, and the spindle taper must be drilled to 1/2? to accept the straight-bolt configuration of the TRZ system. Works with both Standard and Narrowed Pinto racks using 1/2-20 threads. Always confirm the correct rack length, as your cart may display "Narrowed Rack" based on selection.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need TRZ spindles for this kit?
No. This version is designed specifically for factory or non-TRZ spindles. TRZ spindles require the TRZ-specific kit.
Why do I need to drill the spindle to 1/2??
The adjustable rod-end design uses a straight Grade 8 bolt rather than a tapered stud, which requires a 1/2? drilled hole for proper fitment and strength.
