Complete Stock-Spring Front Control Arm System for 1978 - 1988 Malibu
The TRZ Motorsports 319-PRO-STK kit is a full front control arm upgrade engineered for 1978 - 1988 Chevrolet Malibu G-Body vehicles. Built from robust TIG-welded chrome-moly tubing, this system replaces factory stamped arms with significantly stronger, lighter, and better-performing components designed specifically for drag racing.
This kit includes PRO Series upper control arms featuring billet cross-shafts and chrome-moly rod ends, paired with stock-spring style lower control arms that accept factory-type springs and shocks. The lowers incorporate dropped spring perches to accommodate taller aftermarket coils, and depending on spring selection, the front end may drop naturally between 1.5 and 1.75 inches.
When installed as a complete upper + lower system, the suspension geometry is optimized to achieve 6 - 7 degrees of positive caster. This dramatically improves stability and weight transfer for drag racing applications. Uppers or lowers used alone will not achieve this caster range. The uppers also include travel limiters to fine-tune launch characteristics.
Note: These TRZ arms are built for drag racing only. They do not include sway bar tabs and are not designed for street use.
