The TRZ Motorsports 319-CO-Lowers are coilover-specific tubular lower control arms engineered for 1978 - 1988 Chevrolet Malibu G-Body drag racing builds. Constructed from TIG-welded chrome-moly tubing, these arms provide superior rigidity, reduced weight, and optimized suspension geometry for maximum launch performance.
Designed exclusively for coilover shocks, these lowers accept all 1" wide à 1/2" ID bearing-style lower coilover mounts. For QA1 coilovers, TRZ recommends the COM8T-102PK bearing kit for proper fitment. Depending on the selected coilover geometry, 316-style coilover lowers drop the front end roughly 2 inches, while 319/S10-style lowers offer a more aggressive 2 - 3 inch drop.
When used with TRZ's PRO Series upper control arms, the full system can achieve 6 - 7 degrees of positive caster, dramatically improving straight-line stability. The uppers also include travel limiters for precise weight-transfer control during launches.
Note: TRZ A-arms are intended for drag racing only. These arms do not include sway bar tabs and are not suitable for street use.
