TRZ Motorsports Tubular Front Control Arms - Stock Spring Style Complete Kit (1970 - 1981 Camaro / Firebird & 1975 - 1979 Nova) - 318-PRO-STK
Complete Stock-Spring Tubular Control Arm System for 2nd-Gen F-Body & Late Nova
The TRZ Motorsports 318-PRO-STK Complete Kit is the ultimate stock-spring tubular control arm upgrade for 1970 - 1981 Camaro, 1970 - 1981 Firebird, and 1975 - 1979 Chevrolet Nova. Designed specifically for drag racing, this matched upper and lower control arm system is built using TIG-welded chrome-moly tubing to maximize strength, reduce weight, and deliver race-ready suspension geometry.
This kit includes PRO Series tubular upper control arms featuring billet cross-shafts and chrome-moly rod-ends, paired with stock-spring-style lower control arms equipped with ball joints and bushings. When used as a complete system, these arms provide the correct geometry to achieve 6 - 7 degrees of positive caster - a major improvement for straight-line stability and improved high-speed tracking. Uppers or lowers alone cannot achieve these caster values.
The stock-spring lowers include dropped spring perches designed to accommodate taller aftermarket coil springs. Depending on the coils used, the front end may naturally lower 1.5" to 1.75" compared to factory height. If a more aggressive drop is required, TRZ offers coilover-specific lowers (316 or 319/S10), which can lower the car 2" to 3".
The PRO Series uppers also include integrated travel limiters to control upward travel, improving weight transfer during hard launches - critical for consistent drag performance.
Note: These arms are designed exclusively for drag racing and do not include sway bar tabs. They are not intended for street use.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this kit work with coilover shocks?
No. This kit is designed only for factory-style stock springs. Coilover setups require TRZ's 318-CO-Lowers or 319/S10 coilover lowers.
Do the uppers or lowers alone provide the 6 - 7° caster improvement?
No. The full TRZ upper + lower matched kit is required to achieve the intended caster range.
