Complete Coilover Tubular Control Arm System for 2nd-Gen Camaro, Firebird & Late Nova
The TRZ Motorsports 318-PRO-CO Coilover Style Complete Kit is a full front-suspension upgrade designed for drag racing applications on 1970 - 1981 Camaro, 1970 - 1981 Firebird, and 1975 - 1979 Chevrolet Nova. Built from TIG-welded chrome-moly tubing, this matched upper and coilover-specific lower control arm system increases rigidity, sheds weight, and provides the precise geometry demanded in competitive straight-line performance.
The kit includes PRO Series tubular upper control arms, which use chrome-moly rod-ends and billet cross-shafts, plus coilover-only lower control arms designed to accept all 1" wide à 1/2" ID bearing-style lower coilover mounts. For QA1 shocks, TRZ recommends the COM8T-102PK bearing kit for correct fitment.
With 316-style geometry, these coilover lowers typically produce a 2-inch front-end drop. TRZ's alternate 319/S10 coilover lowers can drop the car even further - approximately 2 - 3 inches. When this complete kit is installed, the front suspension geometry is capable of achieving 6 - 7 degrees of positive caster, which improves high-speed stability, tracking, and launch consistency. Uppers or lowers used alone will not achieve these caster numbers.
All uppers include travel limiters to manage upward suspension travel, helping you fine-tune weight transfer and front-end rise during launch.
Note: This kit is engineered for drag racing only and does not include sway bar tabs. Not intended for street use.

Can these coilover lowers be used with factory springs?
No. These are coilover-only lowers. Stock-spring setups require the 318-PRO-STK kit.
Do the uppers or lowers alone provide the 6 - 7° caster increase?
