Coilover-Specific Lower Control Arms for 2nd-Gen Camaro, Firebird & Late Nova
The TRZ Motorsports 318-CO-Lowers are high-strength tubular lower control arms engineered specifically for coilover conversions on 1970 - 1981 Camaro, 1970 - 1981 Firebird, and 1975 - 1979 Chevrolet Nova. Built from TIG-welded chrome-moly tubing, these arms deliver the rigidity, weight reduction, and geometry control required for competitive drag racing.
These coilover lowers accept all 1-inch wide à 1/2-inch ID bearing-style lower shock mounts, making them compatible with all major coilover brands. For QA1 shocks, TRZ recommends the COM8T-102PK bearing kit for proper fitment. The coilover-specific design typically lowers the front end approximately 2 inches with 316-style geometry, while TRZ's 319/S10 coilover lowers can achieve a 2 - 3 inch drop.
When paired with TRZ's PRO Series upper control arms, this system provides the correct suspension geometry to achieve 6 - 7 degrees of positive caster. Uppers or lowers installed independently cannot achieve these caster values and may create camber/caster tuning limitations.
Important: TRZ A-arms are intended for drag racing only. They do not include sway bar tabs and are not designed for street applications.

No. These are coilover-only lowers. For stock-style springs, TRZ offers the 318-STK-Lowers.
