Bump Steer Correction for TRZ Spindles on Second-Gen F-Body & Mid-70s X-Body
This TRZ Motorsports Bump Steer Kit is engineered specifically for cars running TRZ 4130 or Billet spindles on 1970 - 1981 Camaro, 1970 - 1981 Firebird, and 1975 - 1979 Nova platforms. Because TRZ spindles use a unique steering arm design (Part #303), the tie-rod length required is different from factory or aftermarket non-TRZ spindles. This kit ensures precise steering geometry, especially on lowered street/strip builds where bump steer becomes more pronounced.
The kit replaces fixed tie-rod ends with fully adjustable chrome-moly rod ends and includes Grade 8 hardware and 6061 aluminum spacers to dial in correct steering arm height and angle. The stock spindle/steering-arm taper must be drilled to 1/2? to accept the straight-bolt design. Compatible with both Standard and Narrowed Pinto racks (1/2-20 thread).
