The TRZ Motorsports Bump Steer Kit is built to correct steering geometry on 1970 - 1981 Camaro, 1970 - 1981 Firebird, and 1975 - 1979 Nova vehicles that have converted to rack-and-pinion steering. These platforms are known for significant bump steer issues when lowered, making this kit essential for achieving smooth, predictable handling.
This version is designed for use with factory spindles along with aftermarket non-TRZ spindles. TRZ spindles use different steering arm geometry and require a separate kit. This factory-spindle kit replaces non-adjustable tie-rod ends with fully adjustable chrome-moly rod ends and includes heavy-duty Grade 8 hardware plus precision-machined 6061 aluminum spacers. Installation requires drilling the spindle or steering arm's tapered hole to 1/2? to fit the straight-through bolt design. Compatible with both Standard and Narrowed Pinto racks (1/2-20 thread).
