The TRZ Motorsports Stock Spring Lower Control Arms (317-STK-Lowers) are engineered for drag racers running factory-style front springs on 1964 - 1972 Chevrolet A-Body vehicles. Constructed from TIG-welded chrome-moly tubing, these lowers deliver exceptional strength and durability while offering significant weight reduction compared to stock components.
These lowers use factory-type spring pockets and accept OEM-style springs and shock configurations. TRZ lowers feature dropped spring perches, designed to accommodate taller replacement coil springs commonly used in A-Body builds. Depending on the spring used, these arms can lower the front end between 1.5" and 1.75" versus stock height.
This system integrates seamlessly with TRZ's PRO Series upper control arms (sold separately), which use chrome-moly rod-ends and billet cross-shafts. The full upper/lower combination provides 6 - 7 degrees of positive caster; however, lowers alone will not produce those numbers and may have caster/camber limitations without the matched uppers.
For more aggressive ride height drops or bearing-style shock setups, TRZ offers coil-over style lowers, including 316 coil-over lowers and 319/S10 coil-over lowers, which reduce ride height between 2" and 3".
Important: TRZ A-arms are intended for drag racing only. They do not include sway bar tabs and are not designed for street-driven cars.
