The TRZ Motorsports 317-PRO-CO Complete Kit is the ultimate coilover-specific front suspension upgrade for 1964 - 1972 GM A-Body vehicles, including Chevelle, Malibu, and El Camino. Built from TIG-welded chrome-moly tubing, this matched upper and lower control arm system delivers uncompromising strength, reduced weight, and precise drag-race geometry designed to maximize weight transfer and straight-line stability.
This kit includes PRO Series tubular upper control arms equipped with chrome-moly rod-ends and billet cross-shafts, combined with coilover-style lower control arms that accept all 1" wide x 1/2" ID bearing-style lower shock mounts. For QA1 coilovers, TRZ recommends the COM8T-102PK bearing kit for proper fitment. Depending on your coilover configuration, these lowers typically drop the front end between 2" and 3" compared to stock.
When this complete upper/lower system is used together, it delivers the intended 6 - 7 degrees of positive caster. Using only uppers or only lowers may create alignment limitations and will not achieve the full caster improvements. All upper control arms include travel limiters to fine-tune upward travel for optimized launch characteristics.
Important: TRZ A-arms are engineered exclusively for drag racing and do not include sway bar tabs. They are not intended for street use.
