Front Upper Coil-Over Mounts for 1968 - 1972 Chevelle (A-Body)
The TRZ Motorsports Front Upper Coil-Over Mounts upgrade the front suspension of 1968 - 1972 Chevelle A-Body platforms by replacing the factory stud-style upper shock mount with a precise bearing-style coil-over mount. This conversion eliminates rubber bushing deflection, improving suspension consistency, steering response, and overall handling - critical advantages for drag racing, autocross, and aggressive street performance.
These brackets bolt onto the backside of the factory upper cross-shaft frame mount to properly locate the coil-over. Welding is required after initial positioning. Once installed, the system supports any 1" wide x 1/2" ID upper shock mount, allowing you to run high-performance coil-overs in place of the OE rubber-isolated design.
TRZ also includes (2) Grade 8 shock bolts with nylocks, left- and right-hand upper mounts, and (2) travel limiter bolt pad brackets (when applicable for G-Body and S10 platforms). The result is a stronger, more precise, and more durable front suspension connection.

- 2nd Gen Camaro / Firebird (318-2) requires a maximum 5" stroke shock.
