The TRZ Motorsports 316-STK-Lowers are high-strength tubular stock-spring lower control arms designed for 1967 - 1969 Chevrolet Camaro, 1967 - 1969 Pontiac Firebird, and 1968 - 1974 Chevrolet Nova. Built using TIG-welded chrome-moly tubing, these lowers deliver exceptional rigidity and substantial weight savings compared to factory stamped-steel arms.
These stock-spring lowers include precision-installed ball joints and bushings, and their geometry is optimized with dropped spring perches to accommodate taller aftermarket coil springs common on first-gen F-Body setups. Depending on the spring you choose, they can naturally lower the front end by 1.5" to 1.75" compared to stock height.
When paired with TRZ's PRO Series upper control arms (sold separately), the complete system delivers 6 - 7 degrees of positive caster, dramatically improving high-speed stability and straight-line handling. Lowers or uppers alone will not achieve these caster values and may introduce camber/caster limitations.
TRZ also offers coilover-style lowers for more aggressive drop (2" - 3"), while these stock-spring lowers are ideal for racers who want factory-style spring retention with reduced weight and racing geometry.
Important: TRZ control arms are engineered for drag racing only. They do not include sway bar tabs and are not intended for street use.

No. These are stock-spring-only lowers. For coilover applications, TRZ offers coilover-specific lowers in the 316 or 319/S10 series.
