The TRZ Motorsports 209-27D-4 Coil-Over Brackets are engineered for non-backbraced rearend housings, offering a strong, race-ready mounting solution with a deeper 2.5? dropped design for improved shock geometry and clearance. These brackets use a robust double-shear configuration, providing excellent rigidity and stability under high horsepower loads.
Machined from premium CNC billet aluminum, the 209-27D-4 brackets are designed to fit 1/2? ID × 1? wide shock bearings and include Grade 8 hardware. The added drop provides more mounting flexibility, especially when pairing with 6? and 7? stroke coil-over shocks. Multiple adjustment points allow for precise fine-tuning of suspension angle and anti-squat characteristics.
With typical installations, 5? stroke shocks mount under the floor, while longer 6? and 7? shocks often mount through the floor based on vehicle layout and upper mount location. TRZ recommends using a lower crossbrace for extra support, especially on high-power drag applications.
