When upgrading to one of the Shelby shift knobs on a 2010-2014 GT500 you will need one of these retainers. The stock retainer is part of the white ball shifter and can not be separated. This retainer quickly and easily slides onto the stock shift lever and screws down for a clean look. The shift knob then screws down on top of the retainer.
