The new Shelby Oil Separator has "SHELBY" written on the top and has 4 port openings making the perfect fit for any setup you have! A car's PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) system relieves crankcase pressure by venting it-back in the old days, a simple breather tube atop the valve covers let those vapors out into the ozone layer. In the modern era, these gases (which contain vaporized oil molecules) are fed back into the engine at the intake, to be burned off. Unfortunately, lots of those oil molecules return to liquid state in the intake manifold, resulting in an engine that's essentially breathing oil, and creating oil deposits in the manifold, etc. An oil separator can liquefy the oil before it reaches the intake, and catches it in a removable receptacle that can be periodically emptied in normal maintenance.
