Overview
Upgrade the restrictive factory downpipe on your LB7 with the PPE High-Flow 304 Stainless Steel Down Pipe. Designed to improve exhaust flow and turbo efficiency, this free-flowing replacement eliminates the abrupt, restrictive transition found in the OEM design.
Improved Exhaust Flow & Lower EGTs
The stock downpipe is formed from two stamped sheet-metal halves welded to an oval tube, creating a sharp bottleneck right after the turbine flange. PPE's redesigned version uses smooth, optimized transitions that allow exhaust gases to move more freely, helping reduce EGTs and improving turbo response.
Durable 304 Stainless Steel Construction
Built from premium 304 stainless steel, this downpipe offers excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability. It features a heavy-duty 1/2-inch turbine flange, a CNC-machined lower flange, and TIG-welded connections for a strong, leak-free fit.
Thermal Protection Included
To help control under-hood temperatures, PPE includes a woven titanium heat sleeve that provides effective insulation and protects nearby components. A lower downpipe gasket is also included for a complete, ready-to-install package.
