Not only that PPE's cast aluminum pan provides superior cooling over the stock plastic pan. The stock plastic pan has no drain plug and is discarded each transmission service. The PPE Pan's cast-aluminum construction with exterior fins transfer heat away from transmission internals. Lower transmission fluid temperatures extend transmission life. The benefits of the PPE Pan also include easier fluid services. Simply drain, plug and refill. No more trans fluid showers. The pan also features our high-powered Neodymium magnet equipped drain plug to keep harmful ferrous metal contaminants out of the transmission internals.

Ford 's 10R80 transmission is revolutionary. This 10-speed power manager can go from street to strip with a flick of a button on some vehicle applications. All this available power generates more heat. Even daily light-to-light commutes create high heat. High heat destroys transmission internals and scorches fluid. Each of these contributes to reduced performance and transmission life. You can fix this with PPE’s Heavy Duty Transmission Pan.

Cast Aluminum Deep 10R60/10R80/10R100 Transmission Pan

Excessive heat kills transmission life. As temperature rises, transmission fluid viscosity decreases, weakening the lubricating film that protects gears and bearings. This could cause premature wear and potential failure.

Cast from high-grade A356.0-T6 aluminum alloy, the PPE transmission pan offers 1.75 quarts of additional fluid capacity, ensuring long-lasting heat management and performance.

The deep external cooling fins maximize the heat-wicking surface area, effectively dissipating heat to keep your transmission cool under pressure. These fins also add strength to the bottom of the pan and enhance impact resistance.

The built-in baffles at the bottom of the pan increase contact between the fluid and the cast-aluminum surfaces, enhancing heat transfer. These baffles also reduce fluid sloshing, ensuring consistent fluid pickup and stable transmission performance. Together with the longitudinal external fins, they form a stiff, cross-bracing structure, distributing loads better and increasing impact resistance.

The drain plug is equipped with a powerful, high-temperature-rated neodymium magnet that captures ferrous metal particles, providing additional protection for your transmission.

Note1: New for 2025, certain Ford Super Duty trucks equipped with the 7.3L engine may come with either the 10R140 TorqShift ten-speed transmission or the 10R100 (TorqShift-G) ten-speed transmission. These transmissions use different pans that are not interchangeable. PPE Part Number 3280534XX is designed for the 10R140, while 3280536XX fits the 10R100. Please verify your transmission type before placing an order to ensure proper fitment.

    Absolutely love this product!! It’s way better than the OEM transmission pan and the best part it actually has a Drain hole
