PNR Intercooler / Ice Reservoir – Rule Pump Compatible - 2015–2026 Ford Mustang
The PNR S550 Intercooler / Ice Reservoir is purpose-built for serious drag racers running Rule 2000 or Rule 3700 pumps. Designed specifically for 2015–2026 Mustang applications, this tank provides increased cooling capacity and efficient pump integration to support aggressive track use and ice-down setups.
Rule pumps are a popular choice among drag racers due to their compact design and in-tank mounting capability. However, these pumps are intended primarily for race use and are not recommended for high-mileage street vehicles due to limited continuous-duty durability. For best results, Rule pumps should be replaced bi-annually. PNR Welding provides a three-month warranty on pump options from the date of delivery.
This system can be configured as a complete installation kit by selecting your preferred hose package, cap style, tank color, and pump option. Whether you're running an OEM-style supercharger or upgraded larger lines and fittings, PNR offers multiple plumbing options to match your setup.

Hose & Installation Kit Options
Choose from 3/4" NPT, 1" NPT (PVC-style fittings), -12AN, or -16AN push-loc ends.
- 3/4" NPT and -12AN use 3/4" triple-layer insulated hose (OEM-style superchargers)
- 1" NPT and -16AN use 1" triple-layer insulated hose (upgraded larger-line systems)
Each installation kit includes:
- 50 feet of triple-layer insulated heat hose
- Nylon clamps and insulated mounting straps
- Relay and inline fuse
- Brass ball valve
- Drain setup
- Stainless hardware
Cap Options
- Standard Black Cap (replace O-ring/gasket seasonally recommended)
- XL Black Cap (larger opening for frequent icing)
- Black & Red Ring-Style Cap (includes reusable rubber gasket)
- Billet Aluminum Cap (best sealing performance, includes reusable rubber gasket)
Note: Clear center caps have been discontinued due to durability concerns.
Pump Options
- No External Pump (use your own or internal setup)
- Rule 2000 Pump – Minimal carpet interference; carpet may raise ~0.5"
- Rule 3700 Pump – Plumbed setup; tank will not sit flush under carpet
