The PNR Stage 2 Intercooler Ice Tank Complete Package for the 1979–1993 Fox Body Mustang is the most popular cooling upgrade for boosted street and drag builds. Featuring a 7-gallon half-moon reservoir and high-flow Rule 2000 pump, this complete system dramatically increases intercooler fluid capacity while delivering aggressive coolant circulation for track-focused applications.

Designed and manufactured in the USA, this half-moon tank mounts securely in the spare tire well and comes complete with hose, wiring, and hardware for installation. The Stage 2 configuration utilizes the 2000 GPH Rule pump, making it ideal for dragstrip and no-prep racing where maximum fluid movement is critical. Due to pump height, this setup will not sit completely flush under the trunk carpet.

This is a fully packaged solution engineered for serious performance builds that demand improved cooling efficiency without custom fabrication.

Cap Options

All half-moon tanks come standard with an extra-large black cap. Optional upgrades include:

- Billet Aluminum Cap (Recommended): Provides the best sealing performance and long-term durability.
- Black & Red Ring Cap: Enhanced sealing with ten mounting bolts and external threads. Does not sit flush under carpet and must not be over-tightened to avoid thread damage.
- Black/Clear Cap: Available but may crack at the clear center due to trunk heat exposure.

Note: Stage 2 tanks will not sit flush under the carpet due to the height of the Rule 2000 pump.
