Power by the Hour 6R80 High Strength Intermediate Shaft (TR-2018)
Strengthen your 6R80 transmission with the PBH high strength intermediate shaft. In factory form, the stock shaft is sufficient for everyday driving, but struggles to hold up once power levels climb beyond 600 rwhp. Since the shaft engages in 4th gear, it becomes a known weak point under heavy load and added horsepower.
The PBH TR-2018 shaft is precision-built from 300M steel for maximum durability. It installs as a direct replacement for the OEM piece and requires no machining, making it a straightforward upgrade for performance builds. This same shaft is used in PBH’s Stage One transmissions all the way to their highest-level 6R80 builds, as well as in rebuild kits and complete transmissions.
