Power by the Hour In-line Fan Control Thermostat (ACC-1043)
The PBH ACC-1043 In-line Fan Control Thermostat is the perfect solution for managing transmission cooler fans on 6R80 and 10R80 applications. Since these transmissions use an internal thermostat that opens at 180°F, running a fan on constant 12V power means it’s active before fluid even reaches the cooler. This switch eliminates wasted power and improves cooling efficiency.
Simple to install, the fitting connects to any -8AN line in the cooling system. Wired through the fan’s 12V power source, the switch automatically engages the fan at 180°F and turns it off at 165°F, keeping fluid temps properly regulated.
- Designed for 6R80 and 10R80 cooling systems
- Turns fan on at 180°F, off at 165°F
- -8AN male to -8AN female design
- Prevents fan from running before cooler reaches temperature
- Compact and easy to install
Tech Notes
- Ideal for builds using a fanned transmission cooler
- Installs inline with -8AN cooler lines
- Ensures cooler fan runs only when needed
