This front driveshaft loop is custom-designed to take advantage of existing mounting points on the vehicle and requires no drilling for installation. The loop is made from heavy-duty steel that is laser-cut and CNC-bent for precision fit, and then powdercoated in black for long-lasting surface protetction. The kit is packaged with installation instructions and Grade 8 hardware. The clever design of this kit makes for a simple installation with extremely rigid mounting to resist vibration, and to date we are aware of no interference with aftermarket headers or exhaust kits.
NOTES: Compatibility with the popular 4" OD Spydershaft aftermarket driveshaft has been confirmed. As of March 1, 2009, the front driveshaft loop kit has been revised to fit the Shelby GT500 with no modifications necessary. This loop fits all model years of the GT500 and 2005-2010 Mustang GT.
