The KellTrac Double Adjustable Rear Coilover Kit – Race Series is engineered for Mustang enthusiasts who demand the highest level of suspension performance from a stock-location rear coilover system. Designed for 1979–2004 Fox, SN95, and New Edge Mustangs, this Race Series setup delivers aggressive suspension control, increased shock travel, and expanded adjustment range to support serious competition use across drag racing, no-prep, autocross, road racing, and high-performance street applications.
Developed through over a year of real-world testing, this kit provides greater rear wheel rate flexibility, improved traction, and enhanced handling characteristics — all while saving an average of 15 lbs compared to conventional rear suspension configurations. The result is a rear suspension system that improves both performance and appearance the moment it’s installed.
Viking Crusader Shock Technology & Premium Components
At the core of this system are double adjustable Viking Performance Crusader coilover shocks, custom-valved specifically for KellTrac Race Series applications. Featuring independent compression and rebound adjustment, the Crusader shocks are designed for maximum performance capability and fine-tuning under extreme conditions. This makes them ideal for competitive builds where precise suspension control and repeatability are critical.
Custom 2.50-inch Landrum Performance coilover springs are spec’d per application to deliver optimal wheel rates and predictable performance. CNC-machined billet upper mounts, durable coated lower offset shock mounts, and extreme-strength hardware ensure the system remains rigid and reliable under high loads while minimizing unnecessary weight. High-durometer polyurethane bumpstops come pre-installed to maintain controlled suspension travel and shock longevity.

Although positioned as a Race Series system, this kit was designed and tested for street, strip, track, and autocross applications, offering unmatched versatility in a stock-location rear coilover package.
