HP Tuners Universal Credits
HP Tuners Universal Credits are used within HP Tuners’ credit-based licensing system to unlock tuning capabilities for supported vehicles. These credits act as a form of currency, allowing you to purchase licenses for specific vehicle modules such as the ECM, PCM, TCM, FICM, or CCM.
Once a module is licensed, you gain full access to tune that module using HP Tuners software. The number of credits required varies by vehicle and module type.
How HP Tuners Credits Work
- Credits are used to license vehicle modules for tuning
- Most vehicles require (2) credits for ECM or PCM licensing
- Additional modules such as TCM or FICM may require extra credits
- Credit requirements vary depending on vehicle and configuration
Licensing Details
When a vehicle is licensed, the license is tied to specific identifiers within that vehicle.
- VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)
- PCM Operating System (OS)
- PCM Serial Number
As long as these values remain unchanged, the license remains valid and the vehicle can be tuned indefinitely using the same interface.
Interface Compatibility
- One HP Tuners interface can store thousands of licenses
- Compatible with all supported vehicles within the HP Tuners ecosystem
- Ideal for enthusiasts, shops, and professional tuners
Important Notes
- Credits are required before tuning can begin
- Verify the number of credits needed for your vehicle before purchase
- Licenses are non-transferable once applied
- All credit purchases are final
Additional Notes
- No refunds will be issued for digital products under any circumstances
- Confirm your existing credit balance prior to purchasing
- Ensure correct credit quantity for your application
