The GPI LS SS2 Blower camshaft is engineered for the enthusiast who wants stronger top-end power than the SS1 while still maintaining excellent torque and street drivability. Designed specifically for LSA, LS9, and other positive displacement supercharged Gen IV LS engines, this cam takes blower cars like the ZL1, CTS-V, and ZR1 to a whole new level.
This is a high lift camshaft and requires the correct valvetrain support for reliability under boost. With the right build and a 3000+ stall converter, the SS2 delivers outstanding low-end torque similar to the SS1 but adds roughly 10 - 15 more horsepower up top. The powerband remains extremely strong all the way to about 6700 RPM.
